This course includes historical development of the United States from the year 1900 to topics relevant in present day.  Political, economic and social history will be the major focus of content while 21st century skills are embedded in the curriculum.  Immigration, expansion, foreign policy, civil rights, conflict and economics make up part of the major themes of the course.
