Students will be introduced to various concepts of music theory, aural skills, and sight singing. These concepts include but are not limited to pitch, rhythm, scales, chords, as well as other musical terms and symbols. This course is intended for 9th-12th grade students with previous musical experiences, who intend on later enrolling in the AP class and/or want a focused and challenging look into the basic structure and design of music.
