This course is designed to explore the world of drafting and design. Through manual drawing techniques and computer aided drafting software (cad) the student will learn different ways to create and communicate with geometry. The students will be using the latest in 2D and 3D solid modeling CADD software to complete a series of design problems. The design problems will cover geometric construction, orthographic projection, pictorial drawings, and 3 Dimensional solid modeling. The entire course is built around the importance of communicating precise, accurate messages between the design and production phase of industry.
