PWHS miniTHON Fundraiser - Flock of Flamingoes are back!
Attention Plymouth Whitemarsh Families! A flock of flamingoes has been sighted in Colonial School District and they may take over YOUR lawn!
Our sources indicate that the PW miniTHON team may be behind this to help fundraise money and fight pediatric cancer. Once their flock of 20 lawn flamingoes migrates to your lawn, they will remain there until you make a (optional) donation to their cause. After you make the suggested donation of $25 (cash, check, or Venmo), their student representatives will redirect the flock to another lawn of your choice and start the whole process over again. If you do not have another lawn in mind, do not worry! We have plenty of flamingo-loving families that would love to participate. If you would like the flamingoes to migrate over to your lawn for a night, please visit tinyurl.com/flock2024. Reach out soon! Once the cold winds start on November 18th, they will go south and return next year.
Keep your eyes open. They may be in your neighborhood soon and will be trending online at #flockedbyPWHSminiTHON.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Rafferty at trafferty@colonialsd.org.
