The Colonial School District Board of Directors welcomed its newest member and re-seated three others during the reorganization meeting held on Dec. 1.

Tomas Santiago, who takes the place left open by the departure of William Winchester, was sworn in along with incumbent Board members Sharon Marino, Gail Plant, and Rasheda Randall. The Honorable Wendy Rothstein, a Plymouth Whitemarsh High School alum, was present to administer the oath of office to all four Board members.

In addition to swearing in new members, the annual reorganization meeting is a time when the Board elects officers. Beth Patruno was unanimously elected as President and Gail Plant was unanimously elected as Vice President.
