PWHS Field Hockey’s Gracie Kerns scores 100th goal

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School senior Gracie Kerns etched her name in the record books by scoring her 100th field hockey goal for the Colonials. The feat came during the fourth quarter of the team’s 3-0 win over Neshaminy on Oct. 1.

Gracie has been working toward the accomplishment since ninth grade. “It’s a goal I set four years ago,” she said. “At times, it honestly didn’t feel possible with so many ups and downs. This season, I just feel like I’ve broken out in my game and got more confident, and that’s what led me here today.”

An Attacking Center Midfielder for the Colonials, Gracie is only the second field hockey player in school history to reach the milestone of 100 goals.
