Class of 2026 celebrates what's to come at Futures Day

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School seniors celebrated what lies ahead at Futures Day, held on May 1.

The event held in the stadium is typically held on or near Decision Day, the May 1st deadline by which many students commit to attending college. Those going on to post-secondary education came to the stadium dressed in sweatshirts or t-shirts advertising their future schools, and then took time on the field to pose for photos, enjoy snacks, and socialize.

A majority of this year’s 406 seniors have indicated they will attend colleges and universities in Pennsylvania and across the country, while smaller numbers will join the military or begin their careers following graduation. More statistics about the Class of 2026 will be shared as students finalize their plans and as graduation approaches.
