Description: The PSMLA Global Scholars Program is an initiative designed to recognize and encourage high school students in Pennsylvania who engage in interdisciplinary studies and activities with a global focus. The program aims to develop global awareness and competency AND prepare students for success in a globalized world.
Eligibility Requirements: 4 semesters of one language study; 4 extracurricular activities with a global focus; 4 HS courses that highlight or expand on global or international issues or topics; 20 service hours working with an organization or purpose that is global in nature; 8 literature or media reviews (at least 4 books) Students enrolled in the IB program are strongly encouraged to participate
Time Commitment: Bonus Block Meetings Once a Month
