Jeff Aiken elected to Gilpin County Board of Commissioners
Congratulations to Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Class of 1971 alum Jeff Aiken for being elected to the Gilpin County Board of Commissioners in Colorado. Jeff took his oath of office at a swearing-in ceremony on January 14, 2025.
While he has served as a Center City alderman for nine years and on the Black Hawk Central City Sanitation District Board of Directors for 20 years, Jeff continues to look forward to giving back to the community in his new role as County Commissioner.
"A dream job comes along once or twice, and this would be that job—to be able to work full-time serving the residents in finding ways to enhance their lives," said Jeff.
In addition to his civic responsibilities, Jeff has also voluntarily counseled inmates with addiction issues at the Gilpin County Justice Center for 15 years.
